Our tour begins with the transfer from Cagliari to Barumini, where we will visit the largest nuragic complex on the island, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List – Su Nuraxi.
In Sardinia more than 7000 of these wonderful constructions, called “nuraghi”, have been discovered. Su Nuraxi complex, discovered by the local archaeologist Giovanni Lilliu, is a must-see for anyone visiting Sardinia, whether they are passionate about archaeology or not.
The visit to the Nuragic complex will take about 45 minutes.
Afterwards we will go to the town of Sanluri, where we will visit a local winery, we will learn more about the production process of Sardinian wine and we will have the opportunity to taste this wine accompanied by typical products of the area.
At the end of the winery’s visit (for those who wish) there will be the opportunity to buy the wine, before returning to Cagliari.
