This trip will allow us to learn more about the Sulcis – Iglesiente area, located in the southwestern part of the island, once famous for its mining and where disused mines have helped to completely change the landscape of this part of Sardinia.

We will start our journey from the city of Cagliari, heading towards the town of Nebida, where we will first stop at the Belvedere’s panoramic terrace from where we can  take some amazing  photos of the beautiful view of the entire coast, of La Marmora washery, and of the famous Pan di Zucchero’s rock.

We then head towards the town of Buggerru, from its small port we will take the dinghy for a ride of about two hours along the most beautiful coast of the island.

During the dinghy ride, we’ll see the beautiful beach of Cala Domestica, wonderful coves and breathtaking caves, such as the Blue Cave and the Grand Canal.

There will also be two swimming stops at specific points where the water takes on an extraordinary color.

During the tour, we’ll also reach both the famous rock of Pan di Zucchero and the mining tunnel of Porto Flavia, where we can take some photos from the sea.

We will then return to the port of Buggerru and from there we head towards the charming town of Iglesias,where we will take a short walk with the guide who will tell us the history of this town. There we will have free time for shopping or to eat something .The return to Cagliari is scheduled for the late afternoon.
