We depart every day in the morning from the Port of Villasimius: the schooner Maby II sails at 10.30 and returns at 17.00, while the sailboat Asibiri sails at 10.00 and returns at 17.00.
Get ready to experience a day of indelible memories among coves, wonderful views and swims in crystal clear waters. When you get back on board, let yourself be warmed by the sun o
We start sailing at 10.30 a.m. from the port of Villasimius directed to the beach of Santo Stefano, close to the Old Fortress and will continue sailing south along the coast of Capo Carbonara.
After 30 minutes of navigation we reach the Cavoli’s island, wild, uninhabited and of incomparable beauty: a granite island, a popular destination for divers and snorkelers for its rich flora and fauna and for the colors of its waters.
Here we anchor in a space of transparent and turquoise water where it is possible to admire, sometimes even from the surface, the “Madonna del Naufrago”, a statue in pink trachyte by Ozieri, about three meters high, lying on a seabed of 11 meters, donated by the illustrious sculptor Pinuccio Sciola.
While the crew begins to prepare the aperitif, we skirt the most beautiful and renowned beaches in Southern Sardinia: Porto Giunco, Spiaggia del Timi Ama and Spiaggia del Tanka.
With the view of Simius Beach we toast with a local with wine called Vermentino accompanied by local cold cuts meats and cheeses, carasau bread, croutons and olives.
We then move on for the longest stop and for lunch, but not before visiting Punta Molentis, another pearl of unmistakable charm with its granite promontory and its white sand.
Other dives await us at Le Piscine where we will enjoy lunch based on the traditional malloreddus, red and white wine but also beers and cold drinks. Afterwards, a fresh caprese with tomatoes and local mozzarella, we conclude the lunch with our eyes full of beauty and a satisfied palate enjoying the typical Sardinian sweets, accompanied by mirto (a local digestive) and coffee.
On the way back to Villasimius, we will have the opportunity to take other dives in the splendid colors of Cava Usai’s sea.
After admiring the beach of Campulongu we will reach the port around 17.00/17.30 and enjoying in the meantime some fresh fruit.
We return with the salty of the sea and the sweet of the fruit in our mouths and the colors of Villasimius’ nature still indelible in our eyes.
