THE BAY OF OROSEI

Sea and mountains: in the central-eastern part of Sardinia, the vast and unspoilt landscape is a must-see if you are on the island. Inaccessible peaks, green pastures, plateaus, canyons, forests, cliffs overlooking crystal clear waters, caves and beaches. It is one of the most spectacular places in Sardinia, which looks the most beautiful from the sea.

CALA LUNA

A symbol of eastern Sardinia, a natural monument of extraordinary charm, a beach of wild and unspoiled beauty on the border between Barbagia and Ogliastra. One of the wonders of the Gulf of Orosei and the entire Mediterranean. Come on a cruise with us and see why.

The boat trip from Cala Gonone with Uncle Franco and his Samatos is, to all intents and purposes, one of the best experiences for those looking for a boat trip in the Gulf of Orosei. Zio Franco’s great experience at sea combined with the comfort of his motor boat will give you an indelible day of discovery and fun.

Every day Samatos leaves the port of Cala Gonone at 10.30 a.m. to visit the most beautiful beaches and caves of the Gulf of Orosei. Once you reach the famous beach of Cala Luna, the captain will drop the anchor and guests will be able to take their first swim from the boat, they will continue sailing towards a surprise pearl of the gulf.

This will be followed by a visit to the beautiful Cormorani’s cave and the beach of Cala Sisine, a few miles further (at the discretion of the captain) you will make a stop in the picturesque cove of Scala di Ferro or at the Biriola beach for about an hour.

Once back on board, we will head towards Cala dei Gabbiani, but not before taking a nice swim from the boat in the crystal clear waters of the pools of Venus.

Arriving at the Gabbiani beach, guests will disembark for the longest break of the day where they can have their lunch, rest and enjoy the view.

It will not be possible to remain on board during the stops in which the descent is scheduled due to the crew’s organizational needs.

In the afternoon we will keep the navigation to reach the beautiful Cala Goloritzè where you can admire the spectacular natural arch and swim.

The last stop of the day will be the picturesque beach of Cala Mariolu and after about an hour, we will embark again to return to the port around 18.00.
