What do you need to know before renting a car in Italy?
You get the car and return it with a full tank. The deposit card must be in the name of the main driver and you must have it with you physically – the application on your phone is not enough. You must have your driving license with you, without a physical driving license we will not be able to issue you a car. In Italy, the driving license from the mObywatel application is not accepted.
Do I need a credit card to rent a car in Italy?
If you choose full insurance YOU WILL NOT NEED A CREDIT CARD, you can use a debit card. If you choose lower insurance, you will need a credit card for the deposit. Who is a good S category car for? It is a medium-sized car, designed for 4-5 people with a large trunk, which can fit two large suitcases and a handbag.
